Health needs assessment focus group in Morgan County

If you live in Morgan County, St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital and the University of Georgia invite you to a focus group on Feb. 15 to give us feedback about your health needs and things that may make it hard for you to receive care. Family medicine practitioner and University of Georgia alum Joshua Lang, D.O., has joined Middle Georgia Medical Associates, located at 1110 Commerce Drive, Suite 108, Greensboro. MGMA is the practice of Mary Hotz Nesbit, MD, and part of St. Mary's Medical Group.

Cardiologist John Layher featured guest at Fashion Show

John Layher, MD, a cardiologist now practicing full time in Greene County, will be the featured guest at the Go Red for Good Sam Fashion Show and Luncheon on Monday, Feb. 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee. The event will benefit St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital.

Community health needs survey now in progress

Auxiliary will light Love Lights Tree Nov. 28

St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital invites everyone to the fourth annual lighting of the Love Lights Tree on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 5:30 p.m. in the hospital atrium, with music by the Arts Barn Kids and students from Lake Oconee Academy. It's a great way to start the Christmas season!
