He completed his family medicine internship and residency at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC., serving as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
His practice has included providing care to adult and pediatric patients, including geriatrics, dermatologic procedures, primary care orthopedics, joint aspiration and injection, and routine gynecology. In residency, he also practiced in critical care, emergency medicine, sports medicine and pediatric urgent care environments.
“I am passionate about rural health care,” Dr. Lang said. “I love the variety and diversity of outpatient practice in smaller communities. But I especially love the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with my patients and to be their trusted partner in maximizing their health, whether they need a flu shot or ongoing management of a chronic condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure or COPD.”
Dr. Lang is married and has two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, travel, playing and watching sports, and live music.
As part of St. Mary’s Medical Group, Dr. Lang and MGMA accept most major insurance plans. New patient appointments are now being accepted by calling 706.999.0243.
